Build-Forward Deck Construction

We take a build-forward approach to deck construction. That means we replace weak or uncertain structure instead of covering it up. While some projects start as a simple refresh, we often uncover issues once demolition begins. So we address the framing, attachment points, and water protection first. As a result, the finished deck performs better and lasts longer.

When needed, our scope can include structural framing, concrete work, and exterior repairs. For example, we may repair rim boards, add proper wrap and flashing, or rebuild damaged sections before the deck goes back on. Because these steps protect the home, they matter as much as the deck boards.
